I have been running for a while and I have some tips that I would like to share.

Wear Proper Running Shoes If you do not wear proper shoes it can get you injured
because they are not made for running. They don't have to be
expensive as long as they work for you.
Push Yourself If you do not push yourself then you will not get anything
out of it. If it hurts you have to keep going unless you suspect
that you facing an injury. Normal pain should be soreness and
out of breath.
Stay Hydrated By drinking water you will not be as out of breath. Your body
requires water to power your muscles.
Always Stretch Before and
After You Run
Stretching before and after you run can help prevent muscle
strain injuries and loosen them.
At a Running Event Do Not
Eat a Ton of Junk Food
Junk food will make you have a harder time running your
race. You will feel out of breath a lot quicker and you will
tire out quickly.
